Legislative Action Center

SEMPA is the Voice of the Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in the Halls of the Nation’s Capitol and in the individual 50 state houses. How do we do this? By working with our two national organizations: The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and with you as our voice in your individual state. Let us know of our concerns and together we will work to call attention to the concerns in Emergency Medicine and the issues affecting Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants.

ACEP has an excellent Advocacy page providing the latest on legislative and regulatory events and on your ability to join the ACEP 911 network to have our collective voices heard.

AAPA has a Legislative Advocacy site targeted specifically at the PA Profession. Please visit the links below.

AAPA Legislative Action Center also offer information and tools to affect change on federal and state issues that impact the PA profession.
