Cary Stratford, PA-C, DFAAPA, is a 1980 graduate of the Yale University Physician Associate program and a 1981 graduate of the Postgraduate PA Emergency Medicine Residency at Maine Medical Center. For the past 35 years Stratford has worked full time in Emergency Medicine at a Critical Access Hospital and is co-owner of Emergency Services of New England Inc, a PA owned staffing organization providing coverage of rural New England EDs and Urgent Care Centers. Cary has served as the Medical Liaison from SEMPA/AAPA to ACEP, and has also served on the Board of SEMPA as President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and Director at Large. As CME Chairperson he organized the first national conference for SEMPA. Stratford is currently on the SEMPA Advisory Board, and serves on ACEP’s Emergency Medical Practice Committee.
