SEMPA is collecting data on the emergency medicine PA postgraduate programs in the United States. Feel free to utilize the resources we provide here. If you have information about an EMPA postgraduate program you would like to submit for consideration to be posted on SEMPA's website, please send your request to sempa@sempa.org.
SEMPA also offers EMPA postgraduate residency directors access to the SEMPA/Rosh Review Postgraduate Assessment Program, which is a subscription-based product that gives the program access to an extensive question bank from which program directors can assess their trainees’ medical knowledge base and identify areas for improvement. As part of this assessment program, annual SEMPA/Rosh Review Pre-Training, Mid-Program and Final Exams are available. Program directors have access to a dashboard with overall and systems based comparison reports for their trainees and a comparison with the nationally participating SEMPA programs and physician residency programs. SEMPA recently hosted representatives from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) Postgraduate Education Taskforce who gave an update on the newly reinstated accreditation process. If your program is considering becoming accredited, make sure to check out the presentation so you have the latest information on the process.
