Program Description: The VA Physician Assistant Residency in Emergency Medicine is a 12-month intensive program for certified PA’s. This program provides structured clinical and didactic training in emergency medicine with a focus on geriatric patients in a mid-size ED setting. It also offers training in community ED settings through our academic affiliate, clinical rotations in relevant medical and surgical specialties and a focused POCUS curriculum.

Clinical and didactic education will focus on teaching the fundamental skills, knowledge, and humanistic qualities that are required for effective emergency medicine practice.
