Inception Date: 2009

Curriculum: Fellows attend weekly lectures with SIM lab as well as monthly Journal Club meetings. Fellows spend eight (8) months in the emergency department andfour (4) months in off service rotations.

Clinical Rotations:

  • Trauma - 1 month
  • Ultrasound - 1 month 
  • Pediatric emergency medicine - 1 month 
  • Medical Intensive Care Unit - 1 month 

Program Length: 12 months

Class Size: 3

Class start dates: July 1

Credential: Certificate

Stipend: $50,000/year

Benefits: Individual health and dental; 2 weeks vacation

CME: SEMPA 360 conference attendance, ACLS, BLS, PALS and ATLS
